On completion of the course you will:
- Understand the causes and effects that a mental health condition, dementia and learning disabilities can have on people
- Understand the various ways that people with a mental health condition, dementia and learning disabilities can be supported and cared for
- Know about the legal framework, policy and guidelines relating to mental health conditions, dementia and learning disabilities
- Understand the meaning of Mental Capacity and how this works within the health and social care sector
