About this course
This eLearning course has 4 sections:
- Understand the principles of food safety, hydration and nutrition
- Dehydration
- Undernutrition
- Promoting adequate nutrition and hydration
On completion of the course you will:
- Understand the basic principles of food safety during preparation and handling of food
- Feel confident in understanding the link between good health and wellbeing and a balanced nutrition and fluid intake
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of poor nutrition and hydration
- Be able to promote and support individuals with adequate nutrition and hydration
